Football is back at the Daren Persson Stadium!!!!
The new season is almost upon us as we kick off our first pre-season friendly, a lot has changed over the summer with a new management team in place, players leaving to pastures new and new recruits coming in.
Dan and his team have been working since being appointed, both on and off the field as they prepare for the new season kicking off.
Tomorrow night sees us play host to Blyth Town, which will be a good test and will be an ideal opportunity for the new management team to see the squad in a matchday environment and for the lads to get vital minutes against a good opposition.
The opposition have a number of familiar faces to Robins fans amongst their ranks, with Dan Wilson and Luke Heppell joining in the summer.

The postcode of the stadium is NE29 0SS. Some limited parking spaces can be found at the stadium and there is plenty and free street parking on West Percy Road adjacent to the stadium.
By the Tyne & Wear Metro
Tyneside is well served by a light rail system known as the Tyne & Wear Metro. North Shields is easily accessible from Newcastle City Centre from Monument station where trains to the Coast go via North Shields. The Daren Persson Stadium is served by two stops, Meadow Well (5 minutes’ walk) or North Shields (10 minutes’ walk).
By Bus
The 306 & 310 bus service from Newcastle City Centre (Haymarket Bus Station) to Tynemouth runs within close proximity to the stadium. The stadium is located off Waterville Road (East).
