North Shields FC is a community-oriented club that provides a sense of belonging and enjoyment for hundreds of supporters. The club is run exclusively by volunteers.
The club’s roots are deeply embedded in the local community, and it plays an important role in the lives of many different people. It provides a place for people to come together, build friendships, and share their passion for football. The club also offers a variety of other activities and programs, such as community outreach.
North Shields FC are looking for volunteers to help with stadium maintenance to assist with various jobs around The Daren Persson Stadium on week days. The team currently go down every morning to complete different tasks.
Stadium maintenance staff will help prepare various areas around the ground, including general jobs such as repair work that may be needed around the stadium to ensure it is ready to welcome supporters for matches. There is always something to do, from, painting, weeding, cleaning, and general DIY (If you have any particular skills, expertise or trade, please let us know.)
We have a small team of existing volunteers but we feel it is the right time to help improve the condition of the ground and build upon the amazing work the team do!
Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and is a great way to meet new people, expand your social circle and put your skills to use for the greater good.
Stadium maintenance staff will receive free entry to every North Shields FC league home match at The Daren Persson Stadium.
