New Honorary Vice President

The Club would like to announce that we have invited Trevor Campbell to represent the club as our new Honorary Vice President to which Trevor has accepted.

Trevor has been an integral part of North Shields FC for the past 30 + years which he has served the community in impeccable fashion.

Trevor has recently been awarded with the 25 year Northumberland Long Service Award.

The efforts of Trevor are the perfect examples of the type of volunteer work done by many people within Northumberland and when 25 years is completed, by anyone, it should be recognised and achieving that milestone it says quite a bit for the standing of the club itself and the loyalty shown by Trevor and he is ” The salt of the earth” and clubs could not run without the efforts of people like that.

Trevor stepped down from the Board of Directors at the beginning of last season however he has still been a regular fixture at the club as he has been coming down to the ground daily doing day to day tasks as well as coming to every match.

Sean Mulligan and Sean Redford (Co Chairmen) believe it is only right to recognise Trevor for his lengthy service to the club and his continued efforts to the club.

Our Current President structure is as follows:

Malcolm Macdonald – Club President

David Thompson – Honorary Vice President

Trevor Campbell – Honorary Vice President

“We are delighted Trevor has accepted this position at the club and we feel that it is only right, to celebrate Trevor Campbell and all that he has done for the club and how he continues to be apart of the beating heart of North Shields FC. The decision was brought to a Board meeting and everyone voted unanimously to give this role to Trevor. Thank you for everything you do Trevor!’’

Please join us in congratulating Trevor and welcoming him into his new role.
