Tomorrow we make the short trip to County Durham as we visit Shildon in the second part of the Easter Weekend double header.

Our hosts find themselves in 18th place in the standings going into the contest but experience tells from previous encounters that the Robins will need to be at their best.

On Saturday our hosts almost came away from the seaside with all 3 points, only for Bridlington to find an equalizer in the 90th minute.

Marc Nash’s men will be full of confidence after putting a stop to Long Eatons’ 12 game unbeaten run, with Callum Larmouth scoring the all important goal after 26th minutes, with a neat finish.

When the two sides met earlier in the season on boxing day, it was the hosts who left with a late christmas present, coming from behind to win 2-1 after Regan Paterson gave the Robins the lead before goals from Joe Posthill and Billy Gruelich-Smith.

We hope you can join us to cheer on the lads, if you can’t be with us you can follow live updates via social media @NorthShieldsFC
