After Saturday’s heroics with 10 men, we go again as we make the short journey over the River Tyne to take on old friends Dunston.

Dunston find themselves just outside the play-offs in 6th place, just 3 points behind 5th placed Long Eaton United.

After Saturday’s remarkable comeback win on the road at Carlton Town, we moved up to 11th place.

The form guide shows that our hosts have won 2 of their last 5 games, drawing 1 and losing the other 2. On Saturday, they won 2-1 at Brighouse with a 90th minute winner.

Our own form is good viewing, losing only 1 of our last 5, winning the other 4 games. Dan Wilson and Callum Larmouth both on the scoresheet to bring the 3 points back to the north east.

When the two teams met earlier in the season, it was an eventful evening with the game ending in a tie and Duston finishing the night with 9 men after two players sent off late on in the second half.

We hope you can join us to cheer on the lads, for those unable to attend the game, you can follow our match updates on twitter @NorthShieldsFC.
