North Shields Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Darryl Donnelly following his departure from Newcastle Blue Star and Josh Gilchrist from rivals Whitley Bay.
Darryl is a defender who joins the club following his shock departure from Blue Star and has a great footballing background. The former captain of Seaham Red Star is a very commanding defender with even more quality being added to the side.
Josh is an exciting midfielder who can play in the centre of midfield or also on the wing. Gilchrist is joint top goal scorer for the Blue and Whites. The exciting young footballer is a former Newcastle United academy man who has made 72 starts for The Seahorses this season.
