Shields players donate Players Pool to local hospitals

North Shields Football Club are delighted to hear the news that the players have donated the money that has been raised to the Players Pool over the course of the 2019/2020 season to the NHS staff at local hospital, Royal Victoria Infirmary and Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington.

Carl Redhead, committee member and a member of the Commercial Team at North Shields FC has been collecting donations to help staff who are short on care products during this pandemic of Covid-19. Carl has matched all donations he has received to buy essentials for staff at the RVI in Newcastle Upon Tyne and NSEC in Cramlington.

North Shields FC are delighted to show our support along with the playing squad who have donated £800 which was raised in the players pool along with personal donations from the management team, playing squad and from the Club Committee too!

We would like to thank the dedication from Carl and the whole club during this very difficult time.

Do not forget to stay at home and save lives!

We will return, stronger!
