North Shields Football Club can confirm that Rio Joisce has joined the club on a short term loan from National League North side Blyth Spartans.
Joining the side after making 5 appearances for North Shields last season, Rio knows exactly what it takes to play for North Shields.
Rio has impressed massively in training after starring for Tyne Met College and has earned his chances with his all action displays and workrate. Currently playing for Blyth Spartans, he has already shown he can deal with the step up when called upon.
Rio made a number of starts and substitute appearances last year whilst on a dual registration with ourselves and Blyth Spartans. Rio has also featured for England U18 Schoolboys’ squad.
