Marc Nash and his men will look to pick themselves up and brush themselves after a disappointing defeat to bottom placed Tadcaster Albion on Tuesday night.

Prior to the defeat on Tuesday, the Robins had accumulated back-to-back league wins against Consett and Grimsby Borough scoring 6 goals with no reply.

Our visitors come into the tie on the back of a defeat through the week at home to Grimsby Borough, going down 0-2. Prior to that they had won at Home to Brighouse 2-1, before drawing 2-2 with Cleethorpes at home.

They sit in 9th place on 39 points and are the third highest scorers in the division on 53, behind Stockton Town (58) and Worksop Town (77).

The two sides have already met twice this season, the Robins coming out on top on both occasions. The first time was in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round where goals Regan Paterson, Connor Oliver and Brad Hird saw the Robins through to the next round, the two sides then met in league action down at Beechnut Lane in October, where Shields ran out 2-0 winners with Regan Paterson and Brad Hird on the scoresheet once again.
