Tomorrow we welcome the Seasiders to the Daren Persson Stadium, as Bridlington Town make the trip north for our 34th league game of the campaign.

Both teams having played the same number of league games, 7 points and 4 places in the table separate the two sides.

The recent form guide shows that Bridlington have won just 1 of their 5, drawing 2 and losing 2, with the win coming from a 1-0 win over Stockton Town at the start of March.

The form guide is good reading for Robins fans, as Marc Nash and the lads are flying at the moment, unbeaten in the last 5, 3 consecutive wins and 3 clean sheets to match.

Both sets of players will be fresh coming into the fixture as neither team were involved in midweek action. Last Saturday our visitors fell to Dunston at home, 1-2, Tom Alger on the scoresheet. The Robins romped to victory in a 3-0 win over Ossett United, courtesy of a Connor Oliver brace and Chris McDonald effort late on to seal all 3 points.

Back in November when the two sides met, there was late drama when the seasiders stole all 3 points at the death, when Jack Yates scored in added time, to complete a second half turnaround after David Robinson opened the scoring just after the break before Ali Aydemir drew them level.

We hope you can join us to cheer on the lads, if you can’t be with us you can follow live updates via social media @NorthShieldsFC
