Tomorrow we are on the road as we visit league leaders Bishop Auckland at their Heritage Park home.
A tough test is in store for Brian Smith’s men, who come up against a team that has only tasted defeat once this season, this seeing them sit at the top of the table.
Last time out, our hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by West Allotment Celtic, who we played in midweek, WAC earning a point with a stoppage time penalty.
In our game with WAC through the week, we were on the wrong end of a 0-2 scoreline despite playing some great football, just lacking the quality needed in the final third to finish of the good moves with a goal.
This is the first time that the two sides will meet this campaign, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Saturday 16th March with a 3pm KO.
We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads. If you are not able to join us, updates will be available via social media @northshieldsfc
