Club Statement: Guidance Updates

North Shields Football Club have updates to our usual match day proceedings due to recent local changes to guidance from Northumberland FA and Durham FA.

We ask spectators to observe social distancing whilst in attendance, listen to any guidance given over the tannoy system, maintain common sense & follow government and club guidelines. North Shields retain the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety of all supporters.

Clubhouse

Seating inside the North Shields Clubhouse will not be open on Saturday for spectators. Spectators will be able to purchase alcohol from the door of the clubhouse from a table. They will be served in plastic glasses as usual.

Tables will be placed outside the clubhouse to drink whilst observing Social Distancing.

Face Coverings
All Non-playing participants, spectators where permitted, parents/carers and siblings unless the child is under the age of 11, or if the person is medically exempt must wear a Face Covering inside of the ground.

On a match day and training session a Coach must wear a face covering. Substitutes should wear face coverings until they come onto the pitch. Assistant Referees and Referees do not need to wear a face covering.

North Shields will have face coverings on sale outside the ground if you have forgotten yours.

Unless you are medically exempt, you must wear a face covering or you cannot be in attendance, it is the clubs responsibility to ensure all their members in attendance adhere to the restrictions.
