Tomorrow is the day that all Robins fans look out for when the fixtures are released and marked in their diaries, El Coastico Day!
This being the first meeting between the two sides this campaign due to the fixture being rescheduled with the reverse fixtures scheduled for the last game of the season.
The Seahorses’ under the guidance of Jay Bates come into the contest on the back of successive 1-0 wins, the last outing on the road at Kendal Town, where former Robin Regan Paterson scored the all important goal to secure the win over the MIntcakes.
Brian Smith’ side will be rejuvenated after a free midweek following last Saturday’s 3-1 win over Whickham, putting an end to the losing streak which stretched 9 games.
Nelson Ogbewe, Lee Mason and Jordan Lashley on target for the Robins with Fin Neary and Mason Hardy were on target for the Lang Jacks in an entertaining back and forth contest.
When the two sides met last season, it was the Seahorses who came out on top in a 2-0 win, goals from Elliot Day and current Robin Lewis Suddick securing the points.
We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our live match updates @northshieldsfc
