El Coastico, the first fixture all Robins fans look for to mark it in the diary, is finally here as we visit Hillheads on Tuesday night.
Brian Smith’s side will be looking to turn the tide after 3 defeats on the bounce. The results went against the Robins despite some great football being played at times creating a number of good goal scoring opportunities but just not being able to convert when it matters most.
At the weekend, the Robins came up against a very good Bishop Auckland, were it was clear to see why they were top of the table, again though, the Robins were able to create goal scoring opportunities but again unable to convert.
Our visitors were planning to be in action at the weekend, however, the weather had different plans forcing the match official to deem the fixture unplayable just an hour before kick off. The Seahorses have managed two wins in their last 5 games, seeing them currently reside in 9th place in the standings.
In their last game, they were on the road as they visited Crook Town, coming away defeated as the Black and Ambers won 2-1. Courtesy of goals from Nicholas Marley and Paul Gardiner completed the turnaround after former Robin Lewis Suddick gave the Bay the lead on the half hour mark.
This is the first time that the two sides have met this campaign, with the reverse fixture scheduled for April 1st at the Daren Persson Stadium with a 3pm kick off.
A great game is in store as both teams will be going for the win, we hope that you can join us!
