Current League Position: 21st
Last Season’s Finish: 19th Place – Division One
Tomorrow night, Tow Law Town are the visitors as the turnstiles of the Daren Persson Stadium welcome supporters for the first time in 2025.
With the rearranged game coming in the lead up to our rearranged 4th Round FA Vase clash with West Didsbury and Chorlton, it will give Bri and the lads to fine tune and get vital minutes in the tank with the last game over two weeks ago, when Newcastle Blue Star were the visitors.
Having lost the last two games, the Robins have dropped to 8th in the standings, 4 points off the top six with 3 games in hand.
Our visitors have found form of late, picking up 2 wins in their last 5 games, against Marske United and Crook Town respectively, seeing them leave the foot of the table.
With the scheduled FA Vase tie at the weekend falling victim to the cold weather conditions, the lads were able to get some much needed minutes in the tank as Ashington provided the opposition with the Robins running out 2-0 winners courtesy of goals from Lee Mason and Lewis Suddick.
Last time out, our opponents were defeated 4-1 away to Guisborough Town, reduced to 10 men with just 15 minutes on the clock.
When the two sides met earlier in the season at Ironworks Road, it was the Robins who left victorious, Ben Harmison with the only goal.
We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our live match updates @northshieldsfc
