Tomorrow afternoon we welcome Newcastle Benfield to the Daren Persson Stadium.
Under the guidance of Andy Ferguson, the Lions find themselves occupying 6th place in the league table. Recent results has seen them pick up wins against Marske United, West Auckland Town and Whitey Bay.
Last time out, a 3-0 home win against Marske United, goals from Joe Ames, Joseph Thompson and Noah Milllington secured the victory.
Brian Smith’s side made it three wins in succession, as the lads had a Tuesday night outing at Marske United’s Mount Pleasant, Will McCamley bagging a hat trick to ensure that the all important 3 points returned home with us to North Tyneside.
It was back in September, when the two sides met at Sam Smith Park, a Friday night under the lights, where the Robins ran out 4-0 winners via an Tom Howard OG before Ryan Carr, Jamie Homes and Dean Holmes rounded off a commanding performance.

The postcode of the stadium is NE29 0SS. Some limited parking spaces can be found at the stadium and there is plenty and free street parking on West Percy Road adjacent to the stadium.
By the Tyne & Wear Metro
Tyneside is well served by a light rail system known as the Tyne & Wear Metro. North Shields is easily accessible from Newcastle City Centre from Monument station where trains to the Coast go via North Shields. The Daren Persson Stadium is served by two stops, Meadow Well (5 minutes’ walk) or North Shields (10 minutes’ walk).
By Bus
The 306 & 307 bus service from Newcastle City Centre (Haymarket Bus Station) to Tynemouth runs within close proximity to the stadium. The stadium is located off Waterville Road (East).
