Tomorrow night the Robins are in cup action once again, this time, the Brooks Mileson Memorial Cup Second Round with a trip to Welfare Park, the home of Easington Colliery.
A second visit this season, having made the same journey on the opening day of the season, where the game ended all square, Will McCamley and Jamie Holmes giving the Robins a two goal cushion at the break, before a late comeback saw former Robin Brad Hird pulled one back in the 85th minute before Mark Davison drew the Green Army in stoppage time.
The two sides met just two weeks ago in the reverse league fixture, where the Green Army left North Tyneside victorious in a 1-0 win, Josh Barnett with the goal on the hour mark.
This is the entry stage for Easington in this season’s competition, the Robins played hosts to FC Hartlepool in the First Round back in December, were it took a late Jordan Lashley goal to get past the second division outfit.
The winners of the tie will be rewarded with a home tie against West Allotment Celtic in the Third Round.
If the game is tied after 90 minutes, the outcome of the game will be decided by a penalty shoot out.
