Marc Nash and his men welcome Tony Fawcett’s Consett to the Daren Persson Stadium on Saturday.
Just three points separate the two sides, at this point in the season, with both teams going into their 21st league fixture of the campaign.
After Monday’s disappointing defeat to Hebburn, saw the Robins drop five places in the league table to 15th. Consett’s 2-1 victory at home to Dunston saw them rise to 10th place.
Consett come into the contest unbeaten in their last 3, winning 2 and drawing 1, including a 2-1 away win against second placed Stockton Town.
The Robins come into the contest on the back of consecutive 2-1 defeats, despite being the better team in both games. The boys will be looking to put things right and back to winning ways, knowing that a win could propel them back up the table.
Off the pitch, Marc has bolstered the Robins attack, bringing in the highly rated Callum Larmouth from West Allotment Celtic, he has bagged 12 goals in all competitions so far this season.
