The young Robins have been handed a home draw against Shildon AFC in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round.
Last season saw the youngsters have a very successful run in the competition, defeating Ryton & Crawcrook Albion, Seaham Red Star and AFC Fylde on their way to qualifying for the First Round Proper.
We were unable to progress any further, having been drawn at home to a Bury side who made it as far as the Quarter Finals.
The success of last seasons FA Youth Cup side doesn’t stop there as a number of the team now play within the Northern League or further afield.
The game against Shildon AFC will take place on the week commencing Monday 2nd September, with the specific game date being announced as soon as possible.
