They did not become Tadcaster Albion until the early 1920’s.

They come into the game in 17th place, picking up 1 point from their 3 opening games in this season’s league campaign. Last time out they were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Consett.
Prior to that, they were knocked out of the FA Cup after a replay to Tow Law Town, then picking up a point away to Sheffield in the opening league fixture before being beaten at home 2-4 by Cleethorpes.
