North Shields Football Club are delighted to announce that forward Jordan Lashley has officially committed his future to the club by signing a contract ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
The versatile attacker played a vital role in the Robins’ successful campaign last term, which concluded on a phenomenal high as the team lifted the League Cup at the ground of their local rivals.
Lashley’s impact grew significantly toward the end of the season following a tactical shift. After transitioning from a wide position into a central striking role, Lashley found a rich vein of form, increasing his goal-scoring output and providing the squad with a dynamic spearhead in attack.
By securing his services for the upcoming year, North Shields FC takes another massive step in maintaining squad continuity as they look to build on their recent silverware and mount a serious promotion push.
Reaction from the North Shields FC Manager, Bri Smith:
We are delighted to announce the re-signing of Jordan Lashley. Getting him committed for another full season is a massive boost for everyone at the club.
Jordan showed exactly what he is capable of last year, especially when we moved him into that central role. He’s a crucial part of what we are building here, and having his quality, work rate, and goal threat locked in gives us the perfect platform to chase our ambitions for the 2026/27 campaign.”
Player Reaction – Jordan Lashley:
“I’m really happy to have signed for another year at the very least. We finished on such a high last season winning the trophy, and doing it at our rivals’ ground was the ultimate cherry on top for everyone involved.
Moving into the central striking role toward the end of the year was great for me. As a forward, that’s what you want to do because goals lead to wins and trophies.
To the fans, your support home and away is incredible. Stick with us for this next season, keep coming out to watch us, and we’ll do everything we can to repay you with more wins and more silverware.”
A huge congratulations Jordan!
