North Shields FC are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Sampson, who joins the Robins from Ashington AFC.
Ben is a versatile and hardworking midfielder, equally comfortable operating in central midfield or at right back. He returns to the Daren Persson Stadium after previously enjoying a brief spell with North Shields earlier in his career in 2019.
Sampson has spent the majority of his recent seasons with Ashington AFC, where he became a hugely popular figure both on and off the pitch. His consistent performances and leadership qualities earned him multiple accolades, including Player of the Season on several occasions with the Colliers.
North Shields supporters will warmly welcome Sampson’s return as he adds depth, experience, and determination to the Robins’ squad for the campaign ahead.
