North Shields Football Club are delighted to welcome the signing of Regan Paterson.
The former West Allotment and Heaton Stannington forward joins the club with a good track record for the forward!
Regan made sixty appearances for Allotment during his time at Allotment, scoring fifteen goals. Extremely pacy and skilful, defenders will not relish the sight of Regan bombing down the wing towards them.
Manager Marc Nash is delighted with his new addition,
“ Regan is a lad I’ve worked with before as he came through the college programme a few years ago. In fact, he remains the highest scorer in the college academy history. I’ve followed his progress and he has mostly played NL2 until this season where he has been excellent in our division, scoring against us on the opening day. He has scored regularly since. We needed some raw pace at the top end and he will provide this. He has that ability to stretch defences and it gets you up the pitch as well as providing an additional goal threat. He’s young and still improving so we are delighted to have him on board despite some late interest from other league rivals. “
Speaking about joining The Robins, Regan said
“ I’m looking forward to getting started and it’s a pleasure to join such a strong team”
Please join us in welcoming Regan to NE29.
