North Shields FC are delighted to announce the signing of Finlay Hodgson.
The Goalkeeper joins the club from Northern League Division 1 side West Allotment Celtic.
Finn made his debut for Allotment when only sixteen-years-old and has already surpassed a century of appearances for the club.
He is an excellent shot-stopper and starts many attacks with his excellent distribution skills. Still only twenty-years-old, Finn’s career started with stints at both Cramlington Juniors and New Hartley Juniors.
Manager Marc Nash stated his delight at signing Hodgson, and believes the goalkeeper will bring more depth to his Robins side.
“Finn is a keeper we have admired for a while probably stemming from the amount of excellent performances he has had against us over the last few seasons.”
“He is still young but has the experience of nearly 150 senior games so we are very happy to have him on board to add strength to that position.”
