Robins striker Scott McCarthy has departed North Shields and joined Northern League Division One side Whickham.
McCarthy, after signing for the club from near-neighbours Newcastle Benfield, went on to make 23 appearances, scoring five goals.
However, with former manager Mark Convery taking over the Lang Jacks, following the departure of Matty Pattison, the former Middlesbrough Academy player has elected to move on.
