This Saturday see’s the Robins make the trip across the A69 to take on Penrith at The Frenchfield Stadium.

The Robins in a rich vein of form come into the contest on the back of three wins on the bounce, with the latest being a 2-1 victory away to Birtley Town on Tuesday night, Will McCamley and Ben Harmison on target as the Robins came out on top in what was a hard fought contest between the two sides.

Our hosts for Saturday’s game, have won their last two, with the latest being last Saturday, when they also won 2-1, the victory coming against Seaham Red Star at the Alexandra Steakhouse Stadium, James Bell and Luke Hunter on target.

When the two sides met earlier in the season at the Daren Persson Stadium, the game was a rollercoaster affair, Penrith taken the lead through Robbie Hebson before Ryan Carr drew the Robins level on the stroke of halftime, with 5 minutes left on the clock, Penrith thought they had stole it when Connor Shields gave them the lead, only for Shields to score twice in the final moments through Ryan Carr and Lee Mason.

We hope you can join us and cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our social media channels @northshieldsfc
