Tomorrow night the Robins make the short trip west to take on Newcastle Blue Star.
Under the guidance of former Robins management duo Marc Nash and Anthony Woodhouse come into the contest in 14th place. Last time out, they played on Friday night away to Birtley Town, coming away with a point after 1-1 draw. The hosts took the lead just before halftime through Scott Heslop, Blue Star drew level just after the break via Sean Reid from the penalty spot.
Brian Smith’s side were at home at the weekend, hosting Seaham Red Star at the Daren Persson Stadium, an own goal on the half hour mark and Jordan Lashley netting at the start of the second half gave the Robins a two goal buffer, Michael Annang-Colquhoun pulled one back on the hour mark before the visitors squared the game up in the 95th minute, Arran Wearmouth with the goal.
The two times met recently in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup, which saw Blue Star come from behind to win 2-1 after McCamley opened the scoring for the Robins, Luke Heppell and Jake Dailey on target for Blue Star.
The last time the Robins travelled to Blue Star in the league was back in September 2004, that night ended in defeat for the Robins, going down 2-1.
