Tomorrow night we welcome Guisborough Town to the Daren Persson Stadium as we change our attention back to the league.

Our visitors for the game find themselves residing in 10th place in the table going into the contest, having accumulated the same number of points so far this campaign as the Robins with the same number of games played.

At the weekend, the Priorymen were involved in FA Vase action as they welcomed Carlisle City to their King George VI ground, it was the visitors who progressed with a stoppage time winner, Josh Simpson on target in the 91st minute for the Sky Blues.

The Robins were also in FA Vase action at the weekend, having to play their game on Sunday, as hosts Wakefield AFC ground share with rugby league outfit, Featherstone Rovers.

However, it was not to be as the game was postponed in the 11th hour due to a waterlogged pitch, discussions between the two clubs have resulted in the game being rescheduled to this coming Saturday, 26th October, our scheduled game with Crook Town will be rearranged and the new date will be published in due course.

The last time the two sides met at the Daren Persson Stadium, Guisborough ran out 2-1 winners, Tom Potter gave the Robins lead from the penalty spot just after the hour mark, two goals inside the final 10 minutes from Tyrone O’Neill and Edward Thomas ensured the win.

We hope that you can join us at the Daren Persson Stadium to cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our social media channels @northsheldsfc.
