Tomorrow the Robins will embark on their longest trip of the season as they travel to Lincolnshire to take on the Gingerbreads’.
Two brilliant performances on the bounce have seen the Robins pick up consecutive points, with draws against Brighouse and Stockton Town.
The boys put in one hell of a shift on Wednesday night, playing the entire second half with a man disadvantage and continued to compete with a very strong Stockton outfit. The performance and result will fill the Robins going into what will be another strong test.
Our hosts for the occasion appear to have hit a sticky patch, picking up just one win in their last 5 games against Sheffield. However, we all know that form is temporary.
Earlier in the season, when the two sides met, we ran out 2-0 winners, courtesy of goals from JJ Chrisp and Brad Hird. Let’s hope we can repeat the feat to cap off the week in style.
