Tomorrow night we welcome the return of Friday night football to the Daren Persson Stadium as Carlisle City are the visitors.

Looking to put behind them the disappointment of Wednesday night’s defeat away to Crook Town, Brian Smith’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways. Jamie Holmes with a 94th minute consolation goal in what was a frustrating night, coming away on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline.

Our opponents for tomorrow night’s game were also in action during the week on Tuesday night, they made the trip to Scotswood Road to take on Newcastle Blue Star, a game in which Blue Star ran out 3-0 winners.

When the two sides met last season at the Daren Persson Stadium, the Robins hit the Sky Blues for five, after the visitors took the lead through Callum Birdsall in the 17th minute, Brad Hird, Regan Paterson gave the Robins the lead before half time,  Anth Myers, Connor Oliver and Tom Potter all on target in the second half to secure the win.

We hope that you can join us at the Daren Persson Stadium to cheer on the lads, if not, you can follow the action as it happens via our social media channels @northsheldsfc.
