MATCH PREVIEW: Boro Rangers (H)

After yet another postponement, I find myself again wondering whether our Robins will finally be returning to action this coming weekend, against a very tough Boro Rangers side.

Boro Rangers are currently fifth in the league table, sitting comfortably in the playoff positions. They last played on Valentine’s Day in a 3-0 win over Birtley Town. Rangers are on good goalscoring form, netting eight goals in their last three matches.

Captain Stuart Rose is the one to watch in that attacking lineup. He is their top goal scorer with 11 goals in all competitions, but the goals are distributed evenly between the Boro players, reinforcing their high attacking output.

Boro Rangers’ away form has been average at best. They have lost more games than won on the road this season, only winning five games from 14. They have lost six and drawn three, which is something Brian Smith’s men may be able to capitalise on come Saturday.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much to report when it comes to our Robins. We haven’t played in the league since the end of last month, due to waterlogged pitches caused by the recent bad weather.

If youre coming down to the game this weekend, travel safe, and thank you for all of your support!
