North Shields Football Club would like to invite contractors, painters, decorators and those from a skilled background to come along to a meeting on Monday 17th June 2024 starting at 7pm at The Robins Nest, North Shields FC, Silkeys Lane, NE29 0SS.
In particular we are on the search for
- Painting and Decorator Contractors
- Groundworkers / Civil Engineers
- Gardners
- Joiners
- Cleaners
This meeting is to discuss your speciality and the jobs we need doing on the day and how your trade can be of support to the club.
For those supporters and volunteers who wish to help us on the Maintenance Day on Saturday 22nd of June, we will be starting at 9 am and have a whole range of jobs. We will be providing bacon/sausage sandwiches for breakfast as well as burgers for lunch as well as tea and coffees for those volunteers coming along to help get the ground in tip-top condition ready for the new season.
Please note the meeting on 17th June is for those from a specialist trade to discuss their role on the day. General volunteers and supporters will be given their jobs on 22nd June.
We are still on the lookout for donations of materials including Grey metal paint, black fence paint, white gloss, black gloss, concrete, building sand etc.
