North Shields Football Club have been drawn at home to fellow Northern League Division One side Guisborough Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup.
Having fallen at the first hurdle last season away at Consett AFC, the Robins will this time be hoping, in front of a packed home crowd, that they can book their safe passage into the next round; with a trip to Seaham Red Star or Penrith awaiting the victor.

Elsewhere, in the First Round Qualifying of the FA Vase, the Robins have instead been drawn away against another fellow Division One side in Ryhope CW.
