Duo Sign for North Shields FC

North Shields Football Club are delighted to announce that Kyle Patton and Rhys Williams have joined The Robins for the 2019-2020 season!

Kyle Patton, an attacker who previously spent time playing for Durham City, Shildon and local rivals Whitley Bay, Kyle joins the Robins after spending last season with high-flying Bishop Auckland; making 28 appearances and scoring four goals.

Kyle is another exciting addition to the Robins squad as Marc builds a team capable of challenging for the Division One title. He plays predominantly on the wing and with enough speed to give opposition defenders nightmares, Kyle should create plenty of opportunities for the Robins forwards to score.

We are delighted to have fought off competition for Kyle’s signature and look forward to seeing him in action on the opening day of the season.

North Shields FC new signing, Rhys Williams

Rhys is a player who has experience of being as part of a successful team as he played a big part in Hebburn Town’s promotion from Division Two after the 2017/18 season.

Formerly of Durham City before his move to the Hornets, Rhys was awarded for his excellent performances during their promotion campaign with the Players player of the season award.

However, before the start of the following Division One campaign, Rhys transferred to recently relegated Division Two side Washington where he was made captain.

Needless to say, we are delighted that Rhys has joined the Robins and we look forward to seeing him add his strength and skill to the defensive unit.

Welcome to both Kyle and Rhys ahead of the 2019-2020 season!
