North Shields Football Club would like to announce that former Newcastle United, Sunderland and Fulham midfielder Lee Clark will be hosting an event at the Robins Nest to raise money for GAIN (Guillain Barre & Associated Inflammatory Neuropathies).
GAIN is the only organisation dedicated to helping people affected by Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), CIDP and the associated inflammatory neuropathies throughout the UK and Ireland.
The event, which takes place on July 12 at 7:30pm inside the North Shields clubhouse, will see the newly appointed Blyth Spartans manager talk about his relationship and experience with the charity and all the good work they do towards supporting those affected.
Ticket holders will also be provided the chance to ask Lee questions about his charity work and his career in football, plus the club will also be providing a Pie & Peas meal for all ticket holders.
The capacity for this event will be set at 80 people and tickets will go on sale for £15 per person.
If you are interested in attending, tickets will be available for purchase from the clubhouse as well as at any of our pre season friendlies including our home friendly against Blyth Spartans on July 9th.
