North Shields FC can confirm two changes to our early season fixture schedule as a result of national competition developments, including our FA Vase exemption and the recently announced FA Cup draw.
🏆 FA Vase Exemption – Saturday 23rd August 2025
Due to our exemption from the opening rounds of the FA Vase, we now have a free weekend on Saturday 23rd August. As a result, our previously postponed EBAC Northern League fixture against Northallerton Town, originally scheduled for 7th February, will now be played on this date:

North Shields vs Northallerton Town (Rescheduled from 07/02/25)
This allows the club to keep momentum in the league while other teams may be involved in the early rounds of the Vase.
🏆 FA Cup Draw Impact – Wednesday 27th August 2025
Further changes come following the release of the FA Cup early round draw. With both clubs’ availability aligned, our home match against Penrith, originally set for 2nd August, has now been rescheduled for:
