North Shields FC announces new Management Committee for the 2025–26 Season
North Shields Football Club is proud to officially unveil its newly appointed Management Committee ahead of the 2025–26 season. As we continue to strengthen both on and off the pitch, the formation of a dedicated and experienced leadership team marks a significant step forward in our ambition to grow the club and serve our community with pride.

Leading the club Dennis Scarth will take on the dual role of Chairman and Treasurer. Dennis brings invaluable knowledge of the game and strong financial stewardship. His leadership will be crucial as we look to maintain stability while navigating the club with a new leadership team.

Supporting Dennis in the daily operations of the club is Lindsay Coulthard, who has been appointed Vice Chairman. Lindsay’s energy, vision, and connection with the local footballing community will be key assets as the club aims to progress further in the Northern League and beyond.

Chris Lowther will assume the role of Club Secretary, whose meticulous approach, organisational strength, and understanding of football governance make him an ideal fit. Chris will play a central role in overseeing football operations, managing league correspondence, and ensuring the club remains compliant and well-connected with its partners and governing bodies.

Gary Williamson, a valued member of the Junior Section’s management team, has taken on the new role of Digital Solutions Manager at North Shields Football Club. Gary brings both passion for grassroots football and a forward-thinking approach to digital engagement. In this role, he will lead efforts to upgrade the club’s digital infrastructure, enhance the online experience for fans, and ensure that our digital platforms reflect the pride and ambition of North Shields FC. His work will include everything from streamlining communications and improving website functionality to expanding our presence across social media and beyond.

Sean Mulligan appointed as Head of Media and Club Welfare Officer
In his media role, Sean will lead all aspects of the club’s communications, bringing energy, creativity, and professionalism to how we engage with supporters, partners, and the wider football community. His responsibilities include managing press relations, delivering high-quality matchday coverage, and ensuring our official website and social media platforms provide timely, engaging content throughout the season.
In addition to his media duties, Sean will also serve as Club Welfare Officer, a vital role focused on supporting the wellbeing of players, staff, and volunteers across all levels of the club. His compassionate approach and strong sense of responsibility make him ideally suited to help ensure that North Shields FC remains a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone involved. With a clear vision and a dual commitment to communication and care, Sean will be instrumental in shaping both the voice and the values of North Shields FC. We’re proud to have him as part of our leadership team.

Anthony Reed appointed as Stadium Manager
A dedicated and familiar face around the club, Anthony will be responsible for the smooth running of all operations at the Daren Persson Stadium. His role covers a wide range of crucial duties—from ensuring the safety and comfort of all visitors to maintaining the high standards of our facilities and supporting matchday logistics.
Anthony’s commitment to the club and attention to detail make him ideally suited for this position. His work behind the scenes is vital in helping us provide a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for players, staff, supporters, and visiting teams alike. We’re delighted to have Anthony in this key role as we continue to build and improve our matchday experience.

Sam Cave appointed as Hospitality Manager
Completing our new-look off-field team, we’re delighted to welcome Sam.
Sam will play a key role in enhancing the matchday experience, focusing on delivering exceptional service for fans, sponsors, and guests at the Daren Persson Stadium. From overseeing hospitality areas to coordinating special events and ensuring a warm welcome for all visitors, Sam’s role is all about raising standards and creating memorable moments both on and off the pitch.
With a passion for people and a strong eye for detail, Sam is already working hard behind the scenes to take our hospitality offering to the next level. We’re excited to see the impact he’ll make as part of the club’s growing and ambitious management team.
