North Shields have been drawn at home against Consett in the Quarter Final of the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup.
After a closely-contested 3-2 win over Division Two Ryton & Crawcrook Albion in the previous round, Shields will face up against a Consett side who are only three points above them in the league table.
Our opponents in the next round of the Northern League Cup qualified for the Quarter Finals after a penalty shoot out victory over Whitley Bay, with the game finishing 3-3 after 90 minutes.
Because of the FA Vase games this weekend, an announcement of when these fixtures are to be played has been delayed.
