North Shields Football Club has officially mapped out its journey for the upcoming 2026/27 season following the morning release of the Ebac Northern League fixture schedule. With a thrilling league campaign ahead, the Robins are set to contest some of the most highly anticipated non-league matchups in the North East.
The Robins will begin the new campaign on the road with a demanding trio of away fixtures, starting with a trip to returning Northern League side, Newton Aycliffe who return after relegation from The Northern Premier League East on Saturday, July 25th. We quickly follow up with visits to Thornaby on Tuesday, July 28th, and reprieved side Northallerton Town on Saturday, August 1st.
The competitive action finally arrives at the Daren Persson Stadium on Wednesday, August 5th, when we host Shildon in our highly anticipated home opener. A week later, on August 12th, another league game sees us welcome Newcastle Benfield to The Darren Persson Stadium.
The Ebac Northern League schedule has thrown up some incredible blockbusters for the North Shields faithful. Local rivalries take center stage on Saturday, September 19th, when the Robins travel to face Newcastle Blue Star, with the highly anticipated reverse fixture set for Saturday, February 20th.
The festive period also promises an absolute spectacle. The traditional Boxing Day local derby will take place at the Daren Persson Stadium against Whitley Bay on December 26th. The reverse fixture at Whitley Bay is scheduled for Saturday, March 27th, setting up what promises to be an intense run-in.
The Robins will navigate their way through tough double-headers across autumn and winter before concluding their league campaign on Saturday, April 17th, with a challenging away trip to Bishop Auckland.
