We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and ambitious Media Assistant and Programme Editor to join our off-field team at North Shields Football Club on a voluntary basis.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for the production of the club’s matchday programme as well as other media activities, including filming and editing the club’s match highlights, writing match previews and reports, conduction post-match interviews with players and management as well as assisting the club’s Head of Media.
Candidates will ideally have prior knowledge of editing software such as Microsoft Publisher, Adobe InDesign and/or Adobe Premiere Pro. They would also ideally have a strong presence on social media and be able to help push the club’s brand forward.
A full UK driving license would be desirable but lifts can sometimes be provided upon request. We would also expect the successful candidates to attend all home games and most/all away games.
This role will act as the official representative for the club, handling all matters relating to the media and press providing effective internal and external communication activities.
A passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
