Tomorrow we welcome Whitley Bay to the Daren Persson Stadium in El Coastico.
A quick turnaround for Brian Smith’s men after a trip to Shildon yesterday, we go again in what is the first fixture all Robins fans look for when the fixtures are released.
Saturday proved to be a difficult test for the Robins, coming up against a very good side, losing 4-0 in the process.
Our visitors for the game come into the contest on a run of three consecutive defeats, meaning both teams have an almost identical run of form across their last 5 games.
Last time out, they were on the end of a 5-1 defeat courtesy of Birtley Town.
When the two sides met earlier in the month, it was a game that didn’t lack goals, with our opponents running out 7-2 winners to claim the bragging rights and three points.
A reminder as well that it is our family fun day tomorrow, which is to follow the game live entertainment, bouncy castles and face painting and more.

The postcode of the stadium is NE29 0SS. Some limited parking spaces can be found at the stadium and there is plenty and free street parking on West Percy Road adjacent to the stadium.
By the Tyne & Wear Metro
Tyneside is well served by a light rail system known as the Tyne & Wear Metro. North Shields is easily accessible from Newcastle City Centre from Monument station where trains to the Coast go via North Shields. The Daren Persson Stadium is served by two stops, Meadow Well (5 minutes’ walk) or North Shields (10 minutes’ walk).
By Bus
The 306 & 307 bus service from Newcastle City Centre (Haymarket Bus Station) to Tynemouth runs within close proximity to the stadium. The stadium is located off Waterville Road (East).
