This afternoon, Dan Iredale’s team make the journey through to County Durham to take on West Auckland Town at the Wanted Stadium.
This will be the third encounter between the two sides this season. Firstly September in the FA Cup, when our hosts for tomorrow’s game, turned the game on its head, coming back from 2 goals down to win 2-3 with just 10 minutes left on the clock, before a league encounter last month, which saw the two sides play out a 0-0 stalemate.
Our hosts were in action during the week with a midweek trip to Carlisle City, returning with a share of the spoils after playing out a 2-2 draw.
The Robins last time out, against Boro Rangers, ended in a 1-0 win courtesy of a Connor Oliver back post header, to bring all 3 points back to North Tyneside.
