Tonight we welcome our friends from West Allotment Celtic down the coast road to the Daren Persson Stadium.
Brian Smith’s side will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat at home to Penrith, a hard fought display, that played with 10 men for over an hour.
Our visitors for tonight’s game held the league leaders to a 1-1 draw at the weekend, equalizing in stoppage time to take a share of the spoils.
The two sides have met in cup action this campaign, as they faced each other in the Northumberland Senior Cup back in October, where Allotment won 2-1 courtesy of goal from former Robin Callum Larmouth getting both goals either side of Brad Chisholm’s strike for the Robins.
This is the first meeting between the two sides in the league, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Saturday 23rd March.
We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads. If you are not able to join us, updates will be available via social media @northshieldsfc
