The Robins make a long awaited return to competitive action after what has been a turbulent couple of months for the club, new first team manager Brian Smith has worked wonders in order to compile a squad, using his experience and contacts in the game, to gather together a mixture of youth and experience and a couple of familiar faces to Robins fans, to ensure that the club can compete and maintain Northern League Division One status.
Our hosts, currently find themselves languishing at the foot of the table, having picked up just a solitary point so far this campaign. Despite those facts, Tow Law is not an easy place to go, Bri, Cuggy and the lads will need all of the support available to ensure that the new era starts off in the right manner and the all important 3 points, return with us back to North Tyneside.
The last time the two sides met at Ironworks Road, the two sides played out a goalless draw in a pre-season friendly at the start of last season.
