Tomorrow night the Robins travel to County Durham , looking to put Saturday’s disappointing result behind and see this as a good opportunity to put things right.
Saturday saw the Robins create some brilliant chances, had it been for better finishing the game could have been out of sight by half time, however, the hosts, West Allotment had other ideas and their clinical finishing saw them go in at the break with a 3-1 lead. Danny Anderson finished off a neat move, Damen Mullen and a Harvey Walsh brace for the hosts. The second half saw the Robins give it everything, summer signing Morgan Dart reduced the deficit late on but ultimately not enough for a share of the spoils.
Our host’s for tomorrow’s game find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table after the first four league games. On Saturday, they entertained Penrith who the Robins had beaten during midweek, they Lawyers taking the lead when Ben Dibb-Fuller, pounced quickest in the 24th minute before the visitor’s completed a second half comeback with a Connor Shields brace and Luke Hunter in stoppage time.
When the two sides met last season, the Robins ran out 2-0 winners, Cai Pritchard and a Matty Telfer penalty securing the points.
