Tomorrow we welcome Redcar Athletic to the Daren Persson Stadium as we look to put last weekend’s disappointing exit from the FA Vase behind us.
Our visitors find themselves currently residing in mid-table, picking up 12 points from their opening 9 games. They were in midweek action, when they traveled to last Saturday’s opponents West Auckland Town, coming away on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline.
We find ourselves in 5th place going into the contest having played the same number of games as our visitors, sitting on 15 points.
When the two sides last met at the Daren Persson Stadium was back in August 2021 when the Robins ran out 7-0 winners, courtesy of goals from Callum Smith x3, Dan Wilson, Andrew Cartwright, Jack Leonard and Konner Lamb.
We hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads and get our name in the hat for the next round.
If you are not able to join us, updates will be available via social media @northshieldsfc
