Tomorrow night we welcome Penrith to the Daren Persson Stadium as we turn our focus back to league action after Saturday’s exit from this season’s FA Cup.
Our visitors for tomorrow’s game have made an unbeaten start to the season, winning both opening games in the league against Birtley Town and Seaham Red Star and advanced to the preliminary round of the FA Cup with a 3-0 win over Pickering Town at the weekend.
The Robins have also made an unbeaten start in the league, drawing both opening games against Easington Colliery and Birtley Town respectively.
When the two sides met at the Daren Persson Stadium last season, the Bonny Blues left North Tyneside with all 3 points, as the Robins played for over an hour with 10 men, Luke Salmon on target for the Robins on the hour mark before Connor Shields replied minutes later for the Bonny Blues, they left it late to win it, Nicholas Holden bagging the winner in the 87th minute.
We hope that you can join us for the game and cheer on the lads, if not you can follow us on our social media channels @northshieldsfc for updates.
