Tomorrow night sees the club move into a new chapter under the guidance of fan favourite Brian Smith as the Robins return to competitive football for the first time in 224 as we welcome Heaton Stannington to the Daren Persson Stadium.
Brian and his management team have put in endless hour of work to assemble a squad capable of competing at this level, seeing a number of old faces return to the club, in its hour of need.
Despite not kicking a ball since the start of November, we still find ourselves in the top 10, sitting just a couple of places behind our opponents, who have played the same amount of games but have accumulated 7 more points.
Our visitor’s under the guidance of former Robin Dean Nicholson, come into the tie on the back of a Friday night win on the road at Seaham Red Star, coming away with a 2-1 win, courtesy of goals from two former Robins’ Ryan Carr and Konner Lamb.
A great game is in store and we hope that you can join us to cheer on the lads.
For those who are not able to make the game, updates will be available on our social media channels @northshieldsfc
