Tomorrow we are on the road, as we travel to our good friends Knaresborough Town in North Yorkshire.

With pre-season in mid-flow and the start of the new campaign almost upon us, the management team will see this a good opportunity to assess where the squad is at, areas that require tweaking and give the lads more valuable game time.

Tuesday night saw defeat at the hands of Morpeth Town, despite at times being the better team and creating a number of good goal scoring opportunities, two quick fire goals in the second half handed the highwaymen the win.

Our hosts for this fixture were also in action during the week, when they faced Ilkley Town going down 0-4.

The two sides last met last season in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round at the Daren Persson Stadium where the Robins ran out 2-1 winners Paul Van-Zandvliet and Brad Hird giving us a 2-0 lead inside the opening twenty minutes, before a late consolation from Danny Edwards with an effort from 30 yards out.

A good game is in store and we hope you can join us to cheer on the lads, for those making their way down, the postcode for Manse Lane is HG5 8LF.
