Tomorrow night we make a midweek trip to Cumbria to take on 7th placed Carlisle City.
Our hosts for the occasion were one of the few whose games survived the poor weather conditions at the end of last week finding themselves in action against the high flying Shildon, losing out 6-1 to The Railwaymen.
Brian Smith’s team find itself in a good vein of form, winning their last two games, last time out, a hard fought 2-1 win against Sunderland RCA ensured that the all important 3 points remained on North Tyneside, Yeon Kwak and Dan Savage on target for the Robins.
When the two sides met earlier in the season, it was also a midweek game, which saw the Robin run out 5-1 winners, goals from Brad Hird, Regan Paterson, Anth Myers, Connor Oliver and Tom Potter securing the win, Callum Birdsall with the consultation goal.
Another great game is in store and we hope you join us to cheer on the lads as they look to bring home with us the all important 3 points.
For those who are not able to make the game, updates will be available on our social media channels @northshieldsfc
